David O’Leary Unveils New Song "American Carnage"

David O'Leary

A Powerful Anthem for a Divided Nation

Songwriter David O’Leary has announced the release of his hard-hitting new single, "American Carnage," a thought-provoking anthem that confronts the deep divisions and cultural dissonance of modern America.

With searing lyrics like "Truth are lies and lies are truth" and "There’s no going back to our days of past," O’Leary dives headfirst into the chaos of political discord, societal upheaval, and the search for clarity in a world clouded by misinformation.

“‘American Carnage’ is a song born out of frustration, but also reflection,” O’Leary explains. “It’s about navigating a reality where truth feels twisted, trust is eroded, and we’re left questioning if unity is even possible. It’s my way of saying: let’s face these fractures head-on instead of ignoring them.”

The song, layered with evocative verses and a hauntingly memorable chorus, paints a vivid picture of a society grappling with its identity:

“Remember One Six, 911 too / It was real for me but felt unreal for you.”

These lines underscore the conflicting narratives and polarized perspectives shaping national discourse, making “American Carnage” a timely and urgent call to engage with the complexities of modern life.

O’Leary’s raw delivery and poignant storytelling are complemented by a driving, emotionally charged instrumental backdrop, ensuring the song resonates deeply with audiences across the spectrum.

"American Carnage" is available now on all major streaming platforms. For more information on David O’Leary and his upcoming projects, visit https://www.davidolearymusic.com/
